NSG NAKAGAWA + SAUER & Co. GMBH is essentially a supplier for the automobile industry and there especially a supplier to exhaust system producers. The portfolio ranges from individual parts in baffles up to complete mufflers.

NSG NAKAGAWA + SAUER & Co. GMBH was founded in 1997 as a German – Japanese cooperation. Originally the company started with 9 employees. All of them had relevant experience in this branch since they all came from other companies which already produced and marketed these products mentioned above.

Additionally since the beginning NSG NAKAGAWA + SAUER & Co. GMBH provides its own mostly self-constructed machinery and tools. Hereby flexible premises to market requirements and market adjustments are given. Furthermore, commercial machines such as die cutters or presses are bought from other companies to be obtained in the corresponding process lines.

Not later than after one year NSG NAKAGAWA + SAUER & Co. GMBH was able to expand due to the consistent following of its goals such as proximity to customers, flexibility, delivery reliability, the immediate support of customers in solving their problems, transparent processes and others in a way that it was possible to establish additional jobs.

The introduction and implementation of the QS system according to DIN ISO 9002 in 1998 supported the successful operation of the company. Quality policies and quality goals were fixed by codifying procedures, processes and documentations. Through this NSG NAKAGAWA + SAUER & Co. GMBH was able to develop an important basis for guaranteeing the future of the company.

By supplementation of further elements and to expand the market flexibility the existing QS system in February 2000 had been converted to DIN ISO 9001. The customer liaison and support is provided by the company IQ Consulting in responsibility of Mr. Ille.

Intensive efforts in canvassing led to an enormous enhancement of the customer base. So in autumn 2001 an additional product line for motor vehicle mufflers could be put into operation.

At the beginning of the year 2002 a steady evaluation of the QM system required the conversion of the QM norm DIN ISO 9001 to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. Further adaptions and conversion on DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 will follow in summer 2009. 

The economic success and the continuous growth forced NSG NAKAGAWA + SAUER & Co. GMBH to watch for a new production facility since the premises of the rented plant couldn’t considerably be extended.

In 2008 NSG NAKAGAWA + SAUER & Co. GMBH finally invested in former factory premises in Helmstadt-Bargen with enough extention possibilities and expandabilities for the company.
